Chestertown, Maryland: Concourse Chesapeake Research and Resource Center

Designed for the historically iconic city of Chestertown, MD on the Chesapeake Bay, CCRRC will establish a multi-functional facility along the historic waterfront. The current site consists of a derelict marina on the south side of town with direct access to the main parts of town.

The CCRRC will conduct research on the threatened oyster populations in the Bay which replenish oxygen and stabilize the Bay ecosystem. Research labs, an oyster bed growing program and beautiful, waterfront gathering spaces will bring the local and regional community together for both educational and leisure purposes.
